The Third Bistro Table is officially available to the commercial and residential markets beginning today, Thursday July 25th, in white and black colorways at $680.00 USD list. The table is a unique option for hospitality spaces designed by SHIFTSPACE, who set out to define a cafe table that contributes a strong visual presence and physical lightness.
According to SHIFTSPACE, "The principle form is derived from a Reuleaux triangle, a geometry often found in Gothic architecture, that is softened around the edges and divided into thirds. Three identical aluminum parts revolve around a hole suited for an umbrella. Delicate legs descend from the top to create a lightweight yet substantial table. The end result is simple, honest, and distinctive."
Third has a strong graphic quality that is made to stand out alone or create a cohesive group. The table comfortably caters to 2-4 people, with an ideal of 3 seats per table. Based on project needs, Shift can offer the table in a variety of finishes and colorways - inquire for details.
