Limited Warranty

SHIFT warrants to you, the original purchaser, for five (5) years from the date of purchase, that our standard products be free from material manufacturing defects.

SHIFT will pay, within one year from the date of purchase, reasonable and customary labor rates to repair or replace the defective parts and shipping costs from the retailer to and from SHIFT, at no charge to the original purchaser. Such repair or replacement is the exclusive remedy available from SHIFT, and SHIFT is not responsible for damages of any kind in contract or in tort, including incidental and consequential damages resulting from any breach of Warranty.

SHIFT has the right to decline Warranty coverage on furniture or other SHIFT products due to improper or unauthorized assembly or use. This Warranty is void if repairs or alterations have been made or attempted by others not affiliated with or authorized by SHIFT.

After one year from the date of purchase, the Warranty covers replacement parts only, and the original purchaser will be responsible for labor, packing, and all shipping and transportation costs. Proof of purchase by the Original Purchaser is necessary for all Warranty claims.

Except for the express warranties described herein, SHIFT specifically disclaims and excludes any and all express and implied warranties with regard to its goods and services, including, but not limited to, the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

This Warranty applies under conditions of normal usage only and does not apply to any component or surface defects or damage resulting from (a) negligence, abuse, normal wear, vandalism, acts of nature or God, alteration, disassembly, or misuse; (b) inadequate or improper maintenance, cleaning or care; (c) exposure to chemicals and/or any harmful liquid; (d) accidents; (e) any use for which the product was not designed; (f) fading or other damages resulting from exposure to sunlight, fire or extreme temperatures and harsh conditions. Transportation or delivery damage is excluded.

Color matches on replacement parts are not guaranteed or warranted. Wood and stone are unpredictable - therefore these Warranties do not cover minor splits, variance, and/or cracks.
